Job Role: Internship
Responsibilities :
- Work with the senior economist to evaluate the scale and scope of the proposed Food Security Act and how it would it would interact with the definition of poverty in India, with a view to evaluating its fiscal impact for this year's fiscal deficit as well as its medium term role in poverty alleviation. Assess budgetary implications over the next 2-3 years.
Qualifications: UnderGrad / Grad in economics from a premier institute

- Prior experience in government on poverty related issues and/or the evaluation of government programs is mandatory
- Strong analytical ability, quantitative and spreadsheet management skills
